Courses Offered
Subbaiah Institute of Dental Sciences, a unit of the Tadikela Subbaiah Trust, is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and functions under the guidelines and recognition of the National Dental Commission (formerly Dental Council of India).
The BDS course consists of a four-year academic curriculum followed by a one-year compulsory rotating internship, with an annual intake of 100 students.
In addition, the institution offers the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program, affiliated with RGUHS and governed by the guidelines of the National Dental Commission. The MDS program is a three-year postgraduate curriculum offered across nine specialty departments:

Subbaiah Institute Of Dental Sciences offers comprehensive dental care ranging from routine dental procedures to advanced and complex oral healthcare treatments. The dental hospital is closely associated with the adjoining Subbaiah General Hospital, which supports emergency dental care services, including the management of road traffic accident (RTA) cases involving head, neck, and maxillofacial injuries. This integrated healthcare setup enables coordinated emergency response, surgical care, diagnostic services, and multidisciplinary patient management.
The institution is staffed by experienced dental specialists and faculty members from various departments, providing expertise in areas such as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Public Health Dentistry.
